Since 1967, Electro-Motion has been manufacturing and distributing generator products.

Our location on the northern edge of Silicon Valley has allowed us to participate in many of the major projects in that area. We are proud of the customer relationships that have developed, many of them going back to the very beginning of our corporate life. We represent several manufacturers of industrial/commercial emergency equipment, led by Synergy International.

We are also located near many major residential areas. Increasingly, home emergency power is no longer a luxury. The dramatic increase in home businesses and the increased affordability of home units has led us to increase our activities in this segment of the generator world. We are proud to offer WINCO units for this application. We are also a dealer for Generac, should this be the customer's preference.

Our location near Silicon Valley also allows us to assist high-technology companies with their motor generator needs, particularly those involving frequency conversion applications. Many companies need to test their product's ability to function on overseas electrical power, much of which is 50 Hz (cycles). The motor generators we sell (and rent) allow them to do this.

Synergy D-series Generator

This is where we began as a generator company. In 1967 E & H Engineering (our original name) was formed to manufacture generator sets for the high tech companies then inventing Silicon Valley. This was also a major period for other construction projects and the Vietnam War was going full force. Electro-Motion continued to manufacture a wide range of equipment until the mid-1980s, when major industry consolidation took place.

by our long-term relationship with Synergy International (formerly DMT.)

Synergy International manufactures generator sets for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Their equipment is installed all over the world in airports, hospitals, telecommunication sites, mines, industrial plants, office buildings, pump stations, fire and police facilities and the list goes on.

Synergy International generator sets are available in sizes from 12 KW to 2,000 KW. They can be powered by diesel fuel, natural gas or liquid propane.
