Generator Technician

Candidates must be self-starters and team players. Our technicians are in daily contact with our customers. As such, they must feel comfortable representing Electro-Motion in the field.

Technicians will perform field service and preventive maintenance on generator sets, automatic transfer switches, diesel engines, etc. This work will include changing engine fluids and filters, tightening, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, etc. as required by customer order. Will usually perform work on standby units against our 30 point PM Check List.

• Excellent technical skills, proven effectiveness, positive attitude and maturity.
  
  
• Minimum 3 years experience doing this, or similar, work.
  
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
  
  
• Superior customer relation skills.
  
  
• Excellent work and driving record.
  
  
• Mechanical and electrical hand tools for this work.
