Terms and Conditions

1. Rental rates are based on an 8 hour day, 40 hour week and 176 hour month. Multiply the rate shown by 1.5 if the equipment is used more than 8 but less than 16 hours per day. Multiply the rate shown by 2 if the equipment is used 16 hours or more in any 24 hour period.

2. California sales tax will be added to all instate rentals.

3. Rental rates are F.O.B. our Menlo Park facility or designated location. Rentals begin and end at equipment's origin.

4. Delivery and pickup will be charged at the rate of $75.00 an hour, portal to portal.

5. All generator sets are serviced and checked for proper operation prior to customer receipt. Customer is responsible for checking and maintaining fuel, water and oil levels daily. We will service the unit every 150-250 hours of rental use, at our usual rates. We will service the unit at the end of the rental period, if more than 150 hours has passed since the last service, at our usual rates.

6. All equipment must be returned clean. If excessively dirty, we will clean it and bill you at our usual rates.

7. All generator sets are furnished with a full fuel tank. Customer will be billed $2.85 per gallon for units returned with less than a full tank. Customer is responsible for refueling the unit during the rental period.

8. No cable is supplied. Electro-Motion, Inc. can supply suitable cable at our usual rental rates. If you cut our cable, for any reason or by any amount, you will be billed the entire replacement cost.

9. Customer is responsible for proper electrical hookup, including grounding.

10. Customer is responsible for the overall security and good operating condition of the unit. Liability Damage and Loss Insurance is the customer's responsibility. Any repairs to equipment, while in your possession, will be billed to you at our usual rates.

11. Rentals are subject to the terms and conditions of our Rental Contract, which must be signed by the customer prior to delivery.

12. Payment terms are Net 10 days, upon approved credit. Our invoice will be sent on the first day of the rental period.
